3 observers, a sign had to appear at least once a day over a period of 15 consecutive days to be counted.


After 22 months, 30 signs had been learned (DV),

showed differentiation, transfer and combination,
demonstrated semanticity, generalisation, displacement and creaticity,
but structure-dependence
.
